Professional Logging Contractors of Maine (PLC) The Northeast Master Logger Certification Program was founded by The Professional Logging Contractors of Maine (PLC) is an organization founded by loggers for the sole purpose of supporting loggers. PLC accomplishes this by offering a unified voice that represents independent logging contractors at various economic venues around the state.
American Loggers Council
The ALC was formed in 1994 to serve as a unified, national voice for professional loggers across the United States. Made up of a coalition of state and regional logging associations and councils, ALC represents more than 50,000 employees and reaches over 10,000 logging contractors.
